Hello! I am a visual artist from Killam, Alberta.
I create art based on my love of the Canadian prairies and all that they contain. Those cows in the evening light as I take a pasture drive with my Dad, the huge blue skies over top a bright yellow canola field as we embark on a summer road trip, spotting a crocus just emerging from last years brown prairie wool on a hike – these are the things that inspire me to grab my paint brush and capture these special moments and scenes.
I also love to infuse my art with bright, bold colours. Sometimes they are subtly found in an underpainting and sometimes they aren’t so quiet but become what the painting is about.
If you share my love of the prairies, you might just connect with my artwork!
My business is primarily online, but a lot of my paintings can be found at the Rural Root Collective located on Main Street (5601 – 50th Steet) in Killam, Alberta.
