Providence Lane Homestead is a fibre-focused permaculture-practising homestead located 25 minutes northwest of Cochrane, Alberta in the glorious Alberta foothills – welcome to our frontier!
Here on the homestead, we raise and sell sheep breeding stock from high-quality heritage lines. We emphasize health and husbandry and we believe this comes out in the outstanding fibre our sheep produce. Our fleeces are often sold raw, right off the animal’s back, sometimes a year in advance! We also sell 100 per cent alpaca felt pressing pads for quilters, chunky hand-turned crochet hooks and drop spindles as well as rovings and occasionally yarn for fibre enthusiasts across Canada.
Keep in touch with us as we also offer workshops with animal experts in their field. Our focus in on other small-scale, regenerative farmers like ourselves. Education is key – we want to support you in your agricultural journey.
