I am a born and raised Alberta gal, with a deep connection to the community spirit of the area I call home ,and a lover of all things local. I live in Mountain View County, about half way between the small towns of Crossfield and Carstairs, AB (but 15 mins East).
I believe in Slow Fashion and Ethical Fashion, and there is a definite lack of inclusive sizing in this space. As a woman who has a larger body, I struggle to support local as there are so few options, so I decided to throw my hat in the ring and Rock & Prairie Clothing Co was born. I design beautiful style staples with special attention to fit for a curvier body whether you wear a Size 4 or 24. I choose sustainable fibres such as Bamboo, Organic Cotton and Hemp Denim so not only do my garments feel good on, but they do good as well. For production I work with an ethically run Alberta factory that ensures the sewers are paid fairly for their work, and have a healthy, safe working environment. My goal is to create beautiful clothes for beautiful bodies, and nothing makes me happier than you feeling amazing when you wear them.
